At your first Invisalign Consultation, the
dentist will do a health scan of your teeth with iTero digital scanner and
create a 3D image of your smile. Then the dentist will discuss your needs and
decide if Invisalign is a right treatment for you. Dentist will also create the
treatment plan and discuss the length of treatment required.
Next Appointment
Your next appointment will be for Invisalign clear aligners insert and will also train you how to wear aligners and how to take care of them. You will be provide with a several set of clear aligners that you will be required to wear more than 22 hours everyday. You will be scheduled to see the dentist for your next follow up appointment in about 4-6 weeks after your first appointment.
The Process
You will continue the process of wearing your clear aligners and your follow up appointments with your dentist over the term of the treatment.

Unlike braces, your Invisalign aligners can be removed. This helps facilitate cleaning, which leads to better health. However, If you don’t wear them enough, they won’t work well. We find that most patients can eat any diet they choose during treatment. It takes about a week to get used to this. However, we do recommend you stay away from curry, turmeric, and yellow mustard since they irreversibly stain the trays. If you must enjoy foods that cause this stain, we recommend you do so on the last day of that tray. This means you don’t need to restrict your diet habits, just as long as you wear your trays for 22 hours a day.
